Services · Network Assessment

Network assessment.

A network assessment is a full review of your setup. We look at what you have, how it is connected, and what sits outside the office that still affects the work.

Then we give you recommendations. By “network,” we mean more than cables and a router.

The work

What “the whole setup” includes

Everything is on the table for analysis. The point is a clear picture before anyone spends money or makes a change.

  1. 1

    The assessment

A review of the systems and connections your business uses, followed by written recommendations. It is often the starting point when you are not yet a Cobalt customer and need a clear read on the current state.

  2. 2

    What we review

We look at computers, printers, and servers. We also look outside the local network when it matters: email, the website, and file-sharing tools such as Dropbox. We ask about antivirus, firewalls, and whether you have third-party backups.

  3. 3

    What you receive

You walk us through how the office actually works. We review the setup, ask the questions above, and come back with practical recommendations based on what we found — not a generic checklist.

When to call

When you need a clear picture

Call when you are looking for new IT help, planning a move or upgrade, or you are not sure what you have in place. An assessment is useful before you buy equipment or change vendors.

You do not need a complete inventory first. That is part of the review.

The outcome

Recommendations you can act on

The assessment ends with guidance, not a monitoring contract. You decide what to take on, and when.
